• We are an Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) building which is the cutting-edge of green building technologies. ICF locks together somewhat like Lego bricks and serve to create a form for the structural walls of a building. This keeps air leaks to a minimum which reduces heat loss. ICF is also made with a variety of recycled materials that can lower the carbon footprint of the structure and minimize the environmental impact of the building.
• We use advanced oil/water separation systems to ensure that only environmentally safe water is produced from the shop. This system is beneficial and crucial to eliminating/limiting oil pollution.
• Our natural-gas backup generator burns cleaner than other fossil fuel generators and emits fewer greenhouse gasses. As the world shifts away from oil-based fuels to a broad array of more sustainable energy sources, Tranzconnection is incorporating natural gas into our energy plans.
